Starting
What do the results mean?
Accepted
The company's mail server confirmed the mailbox exists. Safe to email.
Rejected
The mail server said the mailbox does not exist. Emailing it will bounce.
Catch-All
The domain accepts mail for any address, real or not, so nobody can confirm a single mailbox. Treat as a guess.
SPAM Block
The provider refused to answer our check. Common with Outlook and Yahoo. It says nothing about the address. Treat as unknown.
Greylisted
The server asked us to come back later. Run it again in a few minutes.
Limited
The mailbox is full, or the server is limiting checks for now.
No MX
The domain has no mail server at all. Check the spelling of the domain.
Timeout / MX Error
The mail server did not answer or returned an error. Try again later.
Invalid
The text is not a valid email format, so it was never sent for checking.
Skipped
Not tested, because a working address for that person was already found.
Not checked
The tool could not run this check, because the verifier was unavailable or your hourly allowance ran out. It is not a verdict on the address.
